Get Market Updates On Twitter

There are millions of twitter users throughout the world (the company does not release actual usage numbers).  Athletes, corporate execs and journalists everywhere are now using this 140-character micro-blogging service to send quick bursts of data (tweets) to people around the internet who want to follow along.

At a meeting with agents recently, we were talking about how twitter could benefit our home buyers. Sure we encourage buyers and sellers to follow our corporate news or keep pace with our agents, but when it comes to homes for sale and data about local markets we thought it was better to create a more direct channel for the data.

Our new twitter-feed service allows buyers to follow any school district where they may have interest in moving, to get new listings "by tweet" every day, and to get market data  for that district fed in a purely social manner.  When the search is done, just un-follow that district and the data quits flowing without delay.
